Skirmish over Dover

A larger French scouting force managed to reach the coastline of Dover before it got intercepted by the local aerial corps.

I commissioned the amazing for this piece of Temeraire fanart (although it does not show an actual event from the book)
While there are several pictures from the book series there was in my opinion a distinctive lack of battle scenes, so here you go.
I would recommend the books to everyone. It certainly is quite a contrast to Eragon and other dragon rider books.
